Are You Going The Right Way?
Don't Go The Wrong Way!
A good example of what it is like to go the wrong way happened during a football game in 1964. In that game, a player for the Minnesota Vikings recovered a fumble and ran the wrong direction resulting in a safety for the other team. When asked later why he did it. He said, “I thought I was going the right way.” He thought he was going the right way, but he wasn’t. Obviously he wished he had been corrected.
As a Christian, when we see someone going the wrong way, heading down the path of destruction. How can it possibly be loving of us to stay silent?
The way of the world is heading over a cliff.
Today we have children who are being lied to about their gender. People are telling them that their genders are fluid. They are being told they can be a boy one day, and a girl the next. As Christians we know this is sinful. God is pleading with us not to be deceived. Do not be fooled. Satan is definitely at work here. Our children are so vulnerable to sin. And God warns us, if anyone causes a little child to sin. It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck, and to be drowned in the ocean. (Matthew 18:6)
Listen to God. (Titus 1:2) God does not lie. We must warn people of the judgment to come. We all know that every knee will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11) when He comes in His glory. The thief on the cross, bowed his knee to the Lord and confessed his sins before he died, and he was promised by Jesus that he would be in paradise that day. The other man on the cross, we can be sure he bowed his knee, but it was too late. He could only wish he had ran the other way!
